Strand 3: Manipulate, test, explore, predict, question, observe and make sense of the natural and physical world.
Learning in this drawing is taking place both in the classroom and outdoors. The illustrator wrote in the drawing that students were "exploring materials." We considered this as evidence for science exploration and materials manipulation. Therefore, this drawing was scored as a two for this strand.
