Exploring Your Own Ideas about Science Teaching and Learning
Teacher Candidate: Phyllis In this drawing, science teaching is taking place outside the classroom. Although the teacher probably doesn't teach outdoors every day, drawings can capture what a teacher is thinking about her style, setting, materials, and role. As you reflect upon your own image of science teaching, think about what you include in your drawing and how this relates to your teaching.
