In our research we found drawings to be a useful way to begin to understand teachers' ideas about science teaching. However, because teaching is a complex activity, we also conducted interviews to obtain a fuller understanding. You can read our study to learn more about what teachers said and how their drawings changed as a result of a professional development experience.
